I disagree with you on Guzman. I think he's rusty, but his "patterns" are pretty normal for a pitcher who will be very good one day. He'll be unhittable one inning with GREAT stuff, but then lose control the next. Hill is AAAA pitcher. He has one major league pitch.

Neither is Bynum, Restovich, or Mabry but they're 3/5 of the bench. Don't forget Blanco, Rusch and Neifi, and possibly Jones (at least vs. Lefty's)

I think dusty is allowing them to use it as an excuse to loose focus Possibly, but at some point in time, players have to take it upon themselves. I honestly can't blame Dusty for this piss poor offense. He isn't up there swinging the bats. I dont think we've reached that point yet I think we have. There is only so much Dusty can do with the players given to him. What we have 7 guys with sub .650 OPS? For once in his friggin life, I think he's a scapegoat, and bears some responsiblity for motivating this team, but when it comes down to it, they are all playing like absolute crap.

So Fellas.... Could Derrek Lee actually mean THIS much to this team? I mean we were GOOD offensively while he was there, but now the entire team sucks? I mean is it conceivably possible?

Well he did hit that double off the wall in the NLDS and the homer in game 7 of the NLCS. I'd rather have him bat than Neifi, Jones, Bynum, Blanco, Restovich, and Mabry.

no point to that really. he is a FA at the end of the season and will be the skipper of the Dbacks next season. not like anyone else can do anything with this crap....this is our idiot GMs fault.
