Well, that's a totally wrong statement, but he was really stupid in walking Ankiel. You all are slow in the head. It was a SETUP!! Walk Ankiel to make sure Pujols would bat - which he knew he would get out - so that we don't have to worry about that big bat leading off the Cards' 9th! DUH!!!! :wink: It is friday, and I am pretty slow, just counting the minutes til the weekend...

That would have been 5/75 if Hendry could have done the deal at the beginning of the year, but 3 mil a year extra is no big deal for the Cubs. -

I think Hendry is handcuffed with respect to salary, which is a big reason nothing was done at the deadline. I know people like to whip the donut eater, but I really don't think he's allowed to take on any significant salary with the team up for sale.
