Teams go through rough patches and good patches, it happens. Not to mention yesterday's game was a little bit of bad luck as well. It's pretty hard to have 17 baserunners and only get 2 runs. Tonight, the RISP numbers are good again, and those baserunners are scoring in bunches. I don't know the exact numbers, but it HAD to be somewhere near 0-30 for the Cubs w/ RISP in that whole series vs the Astros before they finally did something about it late last night. That's a little more than just "a little bad luck". Considering we've been hitting awfully well with RISP over the past 2 months, it very well may have been just that.
