  1. Eckstein has never faced Wood Nunez is 2 for 10 with a BB and 3 K's. Pujols is 10 for 32 with a double, 3 HR, 4 K'sand 6 walks. Thanks!
  2. Essentially, this is the save attempt with the top of the order coming up. Dempster will mop up the scrubs.
  3. How was he thrown out at second? Slow as molasses I assume? Not that I care, great work on the back to back 2 out RBI's.
  4. Fred, you got stats on how the Cards first 3 fare against Woody?
  5. Nice AB Macias, well at least Dusty can't use you later. I'd rather see Murton, Blanco, or Nomah before Macias.
  6. Wow, I concede I'm wrong. OldHappyCubsFan is right, Walker is hitting better in the 6th spot. Though, it IS a smaller sample size.
  7. What I love, is that regardless, Zambrano just owns you, and treats your Cards like his bitch*s. All of them are his bitch*s.
  8. Baker better be saving Woody to face their studs. We finally have good arms in the pen, I don't want to see crap out there.
  9. Well good to see CPatt hitting the ball hard again, and using all fields.
  10. Was that a liner atom ball for those of us at work?
  11. Reverse Cub Psychology FINALLY WORKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  12. Was it close, and no way in hell Neifi walks here.
  13. And doubles in less clutch situations. Hmm. Maybe he does tense up.
  14. If he doesn't come through, I'm expecting a lynching, despite his two doubles.
  15. Then you can calmly say "Walker has only 5 GIDP all year, hes a good number 2 hitter." You don't have to make a personal attack/sarcastic comment. Alot of times I post on emotion in game threads. I do however think once Nomar gets better, he should be #2. Walker seems to do better batting 6th, though I'm interested in seeing his stats in different slots. I edited out my comment almost immediately, because I too post on emotion once in awhile. Apologies for the attack, it just struck me as a very knee jerk reaction, considering DLee also GIDP with 2 men on earlier, and there was no such proposal. Now, who else BESIDES me wants to see Wood in this game, and not one of our Scrub Bullpen guys. And, I would much rather see Barrett or Nomar behind Ramirez, Burnitz is a joke of protection (EDIT: THough he came through that at -bat).
  16. Oh Badger, I acknowledge you, oh great baseball god. Every post you make is bursting with baseball "intellect." I salute you, and bow down to you, because my posting is vastly inferior, and filled with less "baseball intellect, then yours." Hey it's not my fault you advocate moving Walker down in the lineup because he GIDP for the 5th time all year. IT's a ridiculous move. Who would you have up there on this lineup? This is unsolicited because you didn't direct it to me, but perhaps Nomar would be a better choice? Then again, it helps if he's actually IN the lineup. :x It's a possibility, he's seeing some good pitches right now in the 5 spot, and I think he has more power than T-Walk. I'm not sure if I'd want him in the 2 spot, but point taken.

  18. .      Should Dlee moved down too? He GIDP as well.
  19. Was Marquis a position player before he became apitcher? .365 even in limited AB's is impressive for a pitcher.
  20. Man is Burnitz sinking into the abyss. What's his average over the last month?
  21. It wasn't a DP, ramirez can still single in a run here. ? The piece of #%$# Cbs sportsline, of course, can't get anything right. The initially had a fielder's choice, now they went back and changed it to a DP. I don't get who does the play by play for them, but please, hire me, I can do it better, quicker, and more accurately.
  22. It wasn't a DP, ramirez can still single in a run here.
  23. Good Job Walker. I hope Walker comes back. Does he remind anyone else of Grace, in the way he talks to the media, and seemingly is a fan favorite with charisma, and tells the truth when interviewed?
  24. Yea I'm watching online, so I don't know how he looked fouling off pitches, but they didn't look like awful pitches to swing at.
  25. I'd be a very happy Cub fan if Z drilled Edmonds right in the ribs.
