  1. Iowa State goes for it twice on 4th down this drive and ends up with a TD, 14-10 ISU. We miss Brian Smith, our rush defense sucks.
  2. That was easy.
  3. Missouri sucks.
  4. Embarrassing. If they lose this game I might not be able to continue to cheer for this team. They better get their act together in the second half. And oh yeah, fire Christensen. I know it. 9-3 = Great season, our 3 losses were games we all figured we'd probably lose. 8-4 = Disappointing season after our great start, but still solid. 7-5 = Utterly embarrassing.
  5. Missouri starts the game with three solid drives downfield, one ruined by a turnover, then decides to take the rest of the half off. 10-7 Tigers at half.
  6. Iowa St. exposes our crappy run defense and marches downfield to make it 10-7.
  7. Wolfert is a stud.
  8. Missouri up 7-0 at the end of the first. Defense just picked off Bret Meyer and the offense is driving again. Daniel after the first quarter: 11/11, 133 yards, 1 TD
  9. http://sports.yahoo.com/ncaaf/boxscore;_ylt=Aq9c1c3C34MaEIrm473xikocvrYF?gid=200611180019 I tried listening to it through ktgr.com, but it wasn't working for me.
  10. Tony Temple fumbles for the 10000th time this season, ruining another Mizzou drive.
  11. That was easy. Mizzou goes 80 yards on 8 plays on their first drive, capped off with an 8 yard TD pass from Daniel to Rucker.
  12. I pick Cherry, with Blueberry finishing second. P.S. pies with meat or vegetables in them don't count because that's gross.
  13. McIntosh.
  14. I drink 1% when I'm at home, and 2% at school because I have never seen 1% in Missouri (at least not at the market right next to me dorm, or in the dining halls) EDIT: I also have no idea why I drink 1%. I think it was because my doctor told my sister and I we should drink skim milk, so we went from 2% to 1% on the transition, and never got to the skim. Oh well, I hate skim milk.
  15. Mmm colby jack.
  16. There should've been more than .2 left as well.
  17. In another thread--maybe the rotoworld rumors thread, not sure--there was talk about Murton possibly being used in drawing Westbrook from Cleveland. If they're shopping Murton as trade bait, then we'll likely end up settling for Soriano/Drew/Jones. The problem with trading Murton is, he'll probably be undervalued on the market. I hope they don't wind up shipping him off, if that's the case, if only because we won't get a fair return. Oh well, I could live with Soriano, Drew, Jones.. :) Haha, yeah that would be nice. What's that payroll going to be this year again? 150 mil? Still 2 or 3 SPs to sign, Jim. I'm assuming they wanna stay under the luxury tax thing, which I believe is 148 mil.
  18. Oh God...Hendry, please get this done. Offer him more, overpay by a crapload, I don't care, we NEED JD Drew in this lineup next season.
  19. Ahh...it's lonely at the top. ;)
  20. I've wanted Nevin back since we got him last year. He'd be a solid bench player for us.
  21. I like this trade, especially if it lands us Westbrook, and if Cotts can regain his 05 form. Nice job Hendry.
  22. All things considered, I'd rather have Murton. He'll cost MUCH MUCH less and he's much younger. I don't see why you couldn't have both though. Murton's OBP in his first 2 years is .370. Very solid. In case you didn't look it up, he hit .319/.390/.522 (.911 OPS) after the all star break. Please explain how Pierre had a solid year? Since when is a .330 OBP (especially for a leadoff hitter) and a .717 OPS "solid"? JJ had a good year last year, but Murton's was better. I believe people give Murton a little more slack because he's young. Young players are often very inconsistent. And just so you know, Soriano's career OPS is only .004 points higher than Murton's. Murton is only going to get better and Soriano is only going to get worse. I understand what you mean..But who cares about money right now..We have tons of it..Its not mine or yours..Its the Trib's...Spend whatever the hell it takes for us to win the world series...If your a pitcher, who would you rather face, Soriano or Murton? wihtout a doubt, its Murton..You wanna have those batters that scare the crap out of pitchers...Fpr example DLee and Ramirez..I know Murton had the Great OBP and is patient..But wouldnt you rather have someone like Soriano with 40+ HR potential up in the bottom of the 9th with 2 outs and runners on to save the game?? If we can kepe Murton and get Soriano..thats fine.. Im just talking about the man love for Murton that he gets, even when he blows... Holy run-on sentences.
  23. I have a giant mancrush on Drew, so if this gets done, I'll be incredibly happy.
  24. No, Murton has patience, gets big hits, and gets on base. He is definitely not made for the Cubs. Players like Izturis and Pierre are perfect for this team, based on their mantra the past few seasons.
