I believe the whole dodger team is. I'm not sure but I thought I heard the whole Astro team is to. The Astros didn't have any black people willing, so the whole team just decided they'd do it. Do they even have any black people? No. Neither do the Braves.

Growing up I always wanted to be one of the fans who got to go on the field and get an autographed baseball. I also always felt bad for people who got stuck getting Jeff Blauser's autograph.

Don't take this as a defense of Hawk Harrelson at all because I can't stand him, but it's not as important to keep the listener informed on TV as it is radio. It's more purely about entertaining on TV since the audience can watch the action. I do hate the way he sulks when things go bad, though. I agree with you on your assessment on Hawk. To me, this is what makes Len Kasper so great as well. He keeps the listener informed AND he entertains. Plus, he has a great knowledge of the game, even citing Baseball Prospectus the other day. I've listened to a lot of announcers through MLB.TV, and I have to say, we have two of the best PBP guys in the league with Pat Hughes and Len Kasper.

Yeah, he got 2 hits, but they were both singles, and he also got a GIDP and got picked off. Multihit game, but overall not an impressive performance. He's struggling a little. I'm not all that suprised. I'll be shocked if it continues for months. Cub fans will boo him senselessly like they did with Jones. Not saying that can't, it's their prerogative. But how wrong were the fans about Jones? Pretty damn wrong --- to the point of coming to the stadium with apology placards and signs. They should learn their lesson and look at the bigger picture. Not to mention their booing of Lee in 2004-that didn't work out too well either. Lee was booed in 04? Boy, I don't remember that at all.

Winning is fun. Lets do it again. If we can take this game and end up taking the series, getting back to 1 under, I'll be pleased. Go Theodore Roosevelt!
