I don't have any problem with Wuertz being taken out. For one, he'd be facing all lefty's this inning. And secondly, he had to have spent quite of bit of energy in that tense situation last inning. Yeah I didn't realize who was coming up. Little known fact though, Wuertz is actually a switch pitcher, and could've struck out the side that inning throwing lefty no problem.

I'd be surprised if Z were in the same rotation as Veal and Samardzija. You don't think Hendry is going to lock up Z or you think Veal and Samardzija are that far off? I'll be the first to admit my minor league knowledge is minimal at best.

So, how long until Gallagher and/or Veal are ready to pitch in the majors? I really look forward to a day where the starting rotation is Z/Hill/Gallagher/Veal/Samardzija
