    Gaudin completely played himself off the roster this week, unfortunately. I'm very happy Marquis made the roster. He's going to be very helpful out of the pen. Howry shouldn't be there, but Lou loves him and Gaudin made no case for himself since returning from injury.

    My buddy went down to the two games in Florida for the NLCS and ditched his Homecoming Dance date. He told her the day before he left for FL (a day or two before the dance) ... he was basically like "oh by the way I'm not going to the dance, I've got Cubs tickets." She wasn't pleased. Last year I missed Game 2 (Smashing Pumpkins concert) and Game 3 (had to work the Mizzou-Nebraska game, although it was on one of the TVs in the press box).

I fell asleep after the 9th so my dad took my home. I woke up in the car and he told me the Dodgers won. I probably cried.

    I bought 1 NLCS ticket last year and they refunded my money (minus fees or whatever) and I didn't send the ticket back. I still have it. Edit: I see this has been covered about 100 times. I should finish reading threads before I post.
