  1. OKLAHOMA HAS 49 POINTS IN THE 2ND QUARTER. DISCUSS.
  2. Florida loses, he picks up Texas. Texas loses, Florida dominates the No. 8 team in the country. That's a pretty nice problem to have.
  3. 35 points in one quarter. Wat.
  4. Wow OU. Wow Nebraska.
  5. Mizzou is stupid.
  6. I wouldn't mind bringing him back for about $1M for the year, but that's about it.
  7. http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sports_hardball/2008/10/blanco-option-d.html
  8. I woulda thought your knees would be the ones that were sore. Awesome.
  9. ] It seems like the Bears matchup so well against the Titans, if that is possible. They are very strong against the run vs. a strong running-very weak passing team. Then again, this Lions game has letdown, stupid playoff killing loss written all over it As much as I want to be fearful of Detroit, because no team will go 0-16, I just can't be. I think it's more likely the Bears beat the Titans than lose to the Lions. I think the Bengals have a legit chance of going 0-16 this year. I think they'll be 0-14 going into the last two weeks, though they could win either or both of those.
  10. Wow the Mavs are already blowing double-digit 4th quarter leagues. What a joke team.
  11. Missouri is getting absolutely ripped off!
  12. AHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAH OMG THATS HILARIOUS
  13. I'd almost put money on the fact that this won't happen. Hendry isn't that dumb. Garrett Anderson has had two very good years when he was slugging the crap out of the ball. Other than those two seasons, he hasn't even come close to being a good player. His OBP is awful year in and year out. He's a bad baseball player, and I think Jim knows that.
  14. yeah i'm more talking about the injury than his talent level. no doubt he's got skills, but can he stay healthy in that giant body?
  15. raise your hand if you're glad your team didn't have the chance to draft oden *raises hand*
  16. I'm obviously biased, but I think Columbia's downtown area is great. There's a very wide-range of restaurants, shops, and bars to satisfy pretty much anyone. Not that you'll ever be in Columbia again, but if you are, I'd spend some time downtown.
  17. How is Ames not the worst? Because of Lubbock, Manhattan, and Stillwater. Actually I'd say there are only 3 good Big XII towns that I've been to: Norman, Austin, and Lawrence. I've never been to Boulder or Colombia, though. I'd put Lincoln, College Station, and Waco as decent towns, not great, but decent. Lubbock, Manhattan, Ames, and Stillwater are all not very fun. I hear Boulder is a great town. Columbia's got enough to do where I think visitors would be able to have a fun weekend out of it. I've been to Austin (though not for a football game) and it's a great town. I didn't get to spend much time in Lawrence but I hear good things, especially about their downtown area, although I hated walking my fat ass up their hill campus to get to the stadium.
  18. Amongst the SIDs I work with, Lubbock is largely considered one of, if not THE worst Big 12 city. Manhattan and Ames are up there as well.
  19. First time I won't see a Mizzou game all year. Stupid non-TV game.
  20. Lee for Peavy and Gonzalez? That sounds fine to me ;)
  21. Then rank Florida higher, propose to Tim Tebow and be done with it all. But then Colt will get jealous :(
  22. If Penn State makes it to the NC, I'd have no problem rooting for them against a non-Big 12 team.
  23. Heh, I think he's the 3rd best TE in the Big XII behind Pettigrew and Gresham. Pettigrew: 27 rec. 298 yards 0 TDs (6 games) Gresham: 29 rec. 467 yards 7 TDs (8 games) Coffman: 63 rec. 749 yards 5 TDs (8 games) *yawn* pwned  Haha. I could actually believe that Greshman is just as good, but I don't understand the Pettigrew love. It's been going on for two years. Last year Pettigrew got First Team All-Big 12 (35 catches, 540 yards, 4 TDs) over Martin Rucker (84 catches, 834 yards, 8 TDs). I feel that I'm missing something on Pettigrew.
