Winner goes to the Independence Bowl. To play Alabama. nice. In all honesty, while I'd love to go to a better bowl game, as a KU football fan, I'm not gonna pretend to be above the Independence Bowl. We've been there once in the past 3 years. Shreveport is a dump, I don't want my players to have to stay there again.
