  1. I bet I'm a lot closer to literally no money than you are.
  2. I'd agree that Gaudin is over the top. Z just had a mustache... but knowing Z i'm sure it was tongue-in-cheek
  3. is that aramis with that weird...chin beard thing?
  4. just think, that post could've been made without all of the smugness and condescension and it would be just as valid and probably more respected.
  5. did they ever decide if they were building a new assembly hall or renovating the current one? (serious question)
  6. See, the problem with us being really good lately is that suddenly I've had this thought in my mind that we might be able to put out a win there, which we all know is probably close to impossible. It's probably not that implausible. Maybe I'm remembering it wrong, but I thought our last two games at AFH have been closer than the ones at Paige Arena. I think one came down to the wire. Still, I'm expecting the place to be a frenzy. And hopefully Marcus morris won't bump a ref this time and have to sit out the last 10 minutes of the game. I think it was 2 years ago Matt Lawrence missed a 3 at the buzzer that would've tied it, although last year you guys won by nearly 20. It's definitely a game I don't have any expectations of winning though, the only way it happens if some combination of great Mizzou shooting and Aldrich or Collins missing a bunch of time with foul trouble goes down. (it's no longer Paige) Why not? Here's an explanation. which actually proves that mizzou isn't the one that named it the Paige Arena.
  7. well this is awesome.

I would look to that game two years ago when Lawrence missed the three (my freshman year) as an indication that Mizzou can win there. However, they are a much better team at Mizzou Arena (it's no longer Paige) than they are on the road. They haven't even had many close games at Mizzou. Why not? because you're stupid. got him. Who was Paige again? A famous dean there right? A prestigious alum? the jerk store called and they're running out of you

  11. I understand why they're ranked where they are, but it just shows what a joke the polls are. I mean, Duke lost twice last week and they're still in the top 10. A win over one of the supposed "big boys" just caries a lot more weight than it should. It also goes to show the lack of depth in the NCAA this year. There just aren't very many teams I would say are really good. Illinois is about where they should be, but Mizzou is way too high, mostly because the B12 is just so weak this year outside of the top 4 teams. The B10 doesn't have a great team, but there are a lot of good, solid, young teams from top to bottom with the exception of IU and Iowa. I tend to like Illinois' chances better in the tournament (depending on the draw of course) just because they have a little more consistent defense and Mizzou can be stopped if you put them into a half court game. I agree, I don't think Mizzou is a top-10 team either, but what're you going to do. Considering I said at the beginning of the year I'd be happy with the NIT, I'm having a lot of fun with this so far. Plus, it somewhat irks Illinois fans when we're ahead of them, so that's cool too ;)
  12. speak up please, it's hard to hear you when you're way down there.
  13. So you're saying there's still a chance for a Mizzou Meltdown.
  14. you're just trying to jinx us. partially true, but k-state sucks.
  15. Kansas is going to win this game running away.
  16. Mizzou wins by 23. Great second half.
  17. 34-20 and they took him out with 13 minutes left i saw that game on the scroller when it was tied 18-18 or whatever and i was like "oh it'd be cool if tech somehow could win." i didnt see the score again til just now at 72-46. sweet job tech.
  18. Mizzou up 6 at half but it's a slow-paced, low scoring game, which plays right into Nebraska's hands.
  19. Wow this GTown-Syracuse game is awesome.
  20. Mizzou vs. Nebraska today. Really hoping to avoid a letdown after a big win, and it'd be nice to get revenge on the Huskers after falling to them in the Big 12 opener.
  21. that's right. kinda makes me respect tony a bit there. almost.
  22. what did he say about the cubs? i remember all of that happening, but don't remember what was said.
