  1. Yes, I was very mad last night. I would rather that Bowers took the shot. At the time English, Dixon and Denmon were all on the court. In no way should the shot have been taken by Tiller, much less a contested shot. Hey Mizzou fans is your 5 Star recruit gonna qualify? I know that it was kind of an issue earlier. I haven't heard anything other than speculation, but based on our luck with 5-star commits in sports lately, it wouldn't surprise me if he didn't.
  2. HUET COULDNT STOP A SLAP SHOT IN A SHOOTOUT
  3. really need a win though yeah i was mostly being sarcastic. i miss being really good (though i'm not at sulley level of depression yet)
  4. well at least we'll get a point out of this.
  5. hahaha we need a three and the worst shooter on the team takes it. what a pathetic loss. that hurts in re: to making the tournament
  6. can't even get a point against the blues. sick.
  7. Mike Anderson just can't beat Texas A&M. And Missouri can't shoot above 40%. This is frustrating.
  8. i left for 10 minutes and all hell broke loose. what the [expletive].
  9. wtf was that keith
  10. sweet goal by kane on the breakaway
  11. Halfway through the first half, and Texas A&M is still shooting 90%.
  12. Nah, Morgan and Pullard
  13. Serious question: how many of you recruits back out if/when sanctions come down in a few weeks? They signed a LOI, can they still back out? I know under certain circumstances they can but I don't know specifics. Did they all sign? I heard some were going to verbally commit but wait to see what happened with the sanctions Oh ok. Looks like there are two verbals that are still unsigned.

  15. 8:42 am, and all 23 Missouri commits signed. Gotta love a drama-free NSD.
  16. As expected, Bolland will return tomorrow night.
  17. Mizzou's class is scary good, assuming they all qualify. I'm pretty jealous. Scary good? They're 17th (per Rivals) with no 5-stars and mostly 3-star commits I'm sure snood is mostly talking about Mizzou from a Big 12/North standpoint...fourth best in the Big 12 and best in the North. Plus I could go through all of two or three star players over the past few years for Mizzou that have been some of the top players at their position (such as two star - Weatherspoon and Danario, three star - Daniel). It's the best class on paper in Missouri history. It's not really a shock to see Mizzou fans pumped about it and other North Division fans a little weary.
  18. Mizzou's class is scary good, assuming they all qualify. I'm pretty jealous. All things considered, I'm okay with KU's class. Certainly doesn't stack up to most other Big 12 teams, but I had low expectations considering its size and the coaching change. After losing out on Grissom, Gill acquitted himself nicely by stealing Bourbon from Stanford and nabbing McDonald from Mizzou. If we can steal Ebbele from Illinois, Gill will have done pretty well in a short amount of time. Look for McDonald to sign with Colorado before all is said and done. In all seriousness, while Kansas' class isn't amazing, considering the late turnover they had it isn't bad. Terry is legit and McDonald is a solid get. Things definitely could have definitely been much worse. But yeah, Mizzou's class really has me excited. I'm not sure what the eligibility situation is (I know back in early-mid December there were a couple of guys that could've been question marks, but not sure now), but with this class, plus Sheldon Richardson coming in in 2011, it could be a fun couple of years here.
  19. 28637. I've moved up 107 spots in 15.5 months. Hilarious.
  20. At least Mizzou will get in every year now since all 12 teams in the league will get a bid.
  21. Signing Day for Mizzou should be rather quiet, and I hope it is (unless of course Keeston Terry or Curtis Carter want to switch to us now that we just had a de-commit last week)
  22. yeah, no. that's not true at all. you must only be looking at GAA average, which is a product of the rest of the team. 2009-2010 hawks save percentage- .906 (17th in NHL) 2008-2009 hawks save percentage- .911 (7th in NHL) the hawks main goalie last year (khabi) was legitimately good/great. huet is the primary goalie this year, and he has not been good. So is save percentage. There's no way to gauge the quality of chances. And, by the way, based on your metric, Khabi was terrible in the playoffs (.898 save percentage / 2.93 GAA). Huet has been good. This hate against him has become absolutely ridiculous. He's struggled at a couple points this year, but calling most every goal scored on him as soft when often he has almost no chance is, frankly, meatball-ish. What could Huet have done last night on those goals? I agree Huet has been good (though not great this year), I do feel that a lot of goals he gives up are due to him being out of position/slow getting back in position/slow moving back across the net.
  23. they looked like they were ready to go home tonight.
