Stone... I like Brenly, but he's not nearly as good as Stoney was. -
Thanks! I hope he can go back down & get 5-7 starts, then come back up in September... I'd like to see him challenge for a spot in the rotation next year.

How'd he look last night? ( 7-18 )... I know he picked up 2-4 mph on his fastball last year... Is he still touching 95mph every now & then?

Yep, no doubt! The worst pitcher in the majors 20 years ago was some bum named Greg Maddux- I wonder what ever happened to him?!? Probably selling shoes in Chicago with Al Bundy. -

Not a bad list, imo... I know a lot of this has been talked about, but I have some questions.... Thanks in advance. Could someone give a 1 or 2 sentence breakdown on Veal? What's his stuff & how far away is he? On Gallagher, I remember him as a control pitcher, but still a decent prospect. From reading a couple threads here, I understand he now pitches in the mid 90's. How did this happen?... From what I remember, he wasn't projected to gain velocity If he can still pitch like he did when he threw 88-91mph, his ceiling is about as high as it gets. I saw that EP had a monster run in AAA. I know it was a small sample size, but does he have a shot with ther Cubs next year? Since the Cubs didn't call him up, I think I already know the answer.

Excellent info!... I wasn't' too impressed with Pie's numbers; until, you broke them down. I haven't followed the Cubs minor leaguers the last two years, but one of the guys I remember is Pie. As long as he keeps his OBP up, I think the sky is the limit for this kid.
