This may be nitpicking, but I think I'd want more from Atlanta for Garza - I'd want it to center around Teheran. And why would the Dodgers still give us Eovaldi knowing Dempster is limiting our options to them or nobody? Colletti's not very good at what he does, so I guess it's possible he won't react to this, but I'd expect the Dodgers' offer to plummet if Demp nixes this trade. They don't know it's them or nobody, and neither do we. It seems implicit, but he didn't veto it immediately, so the door is still open. It would be simple to leverage this as a "Ryan would prefer L.A., and that is why he is waiting; to give you an opportunity to match or approximate their offer. If you don't, he is receptive to Atlanta."
