Dempster would walk the lineup if they would let him. I've been very impressed with Dempster this year, but he's been giving up way too many walks (and a lot of them to crappy teams/batters) all season for it to not eventually bite him hard. He has been ok, but if we get to the playoffs and are using him in the rotation we will be in trouble. That depends on which Dempster shows up on a given day. It's not like he's a smoke and mirrors guy, his stuff is good enough to shut the opposition down provided he is commanding it well. The problem is that varies from inning to inning.
