  1. Gee thanks for flipping the field Gill.
  2. I derive a large measure of enjoyment when the Steelers suck.
  3. I figured that was a joke.
  4. So a part of your thinking is that PCA goes to CF, and that would make Bellinger a 1B'er where is bat is positionally not as impressive.
  5. Maybe I'll get one of those customized jerseys with "WTF" on the back.
  6. Passing up on everything then? I respect the opinions around here I really do. But man, that just sounds like bargain basement FO stuff suited for the A's and KC, but not this club.
  7. Wow I couldn't disagree with this more. We don't know what we have at the plate with PCA. I'm not going to hold limited action last year against him but I will say he's an unknown and we can't base his minor league stats on a projection into the majors. How was Bellinger's season a "semi" bounce back? He hit for power, hit for average. Put up an .881 OPS good for a 133 OPS+. Silver slugger @ CF (I guess it was "utility") is nothing to turn your nose up at. It was a fantastically successful return to form as far as I'm concerned. To me, if we let Bellinger go it's an utter catastrophe.
  8. I'm having a hard time believing they acquire Counsell then just not do anything substantial to improve the roster. But it's starting to look like that. If that's the case, I'd say Counsell made a huge mistake coming here. He had a good thing going in Milwaukee, and there was no reason to think it wasn't going to continue.
  9. So we rehabbed Bellinger's game so another team can reap the benefits? That's horrible. Without any other top FA signings, if Bellinger leaves it's a disaster.
  10. You see how he can't block on pass plays though, right? It's embarrassing. If he's in there and you think it's a pass -- auto-blitz. I don't like RBs who make it obvious what the defense should do just by virtue of them being in the game.
  11. Yes. The ball simply has to come out quicker and on target. I think we've seen enough to know that's not going to happen consistently.
  12. Yeah, concern is rising. It'll turn to panic if Bellinger leaves.
  13. I mean sometimes it's amusing but there's a lot of dead air, and a lot of them not paying attention so they miss things that viewers know. It's kind of frustrating at times. Other times it's fun, like when a QB does something that triggers Peyton.
  14. A 49ers / Cowboys NFC Championship would be a lot of fun. I was actually just going to post what you did. The Dolphins have not beaten a good team this year. Denver isn't a quality win because of when they beat them.
  15. It’s bad. But it seems to be gaining traction somehow. Probably simply because it’s different.
  16. Miami scores 17 unanswered in the 4th quarter and loses.
  17. Giants, as they say, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory. Barkley almost never fumbles.
  18. Apparently she took it down too. Also my bad, they aren’t married (yet) I’m 0-2 today. Time to quit 😊
  19. Apparently Bellinger’s wife is in Toronto right now fueling speculation that he might be going there.
  20. OK. FWIW I don’t think you are saying something all that different.
  21. He’d be throwing it away too often. If he’s outside the box chances are good he’s in scramble mode and that’s where I’d rather see him try to create with his legs. Hes not a pocket passer. He won’t ever be. This is it. He’s playing as good as he ever will. Only question now is whether this is what the Bears want to move forward with, or start over.
  22. I decided to check on the rule they invoked. There is indeed a clause that says it’s not IG if the defender affects the throw. A pretty good argument can be made that there was no receiver that could possibly have been the target of the throw regardless. But it’s not like there’s no rule that the refs used.
  23. But, Bears. No way they fire anyone if they end the season with a good run.
  24. There’s not much to complain about today. Some nitpicky stuff, and yes, Fields could’ve made a few better throws. But overall it was a really solid game. Feels pretty good.
  25. Yep. There’s pressure up front. I had almost forgotten how great sacks feel.
