Cubs: Forget about the Brewers and take care of your own baseball games. Thank you. (not that they're doing this, but just a friendly reminder. the Brewers ultimately don't matter if we take care of our business) -
Who cares really, all their medals are in crappy judged "events", or weightlifting. i wish we could beat communists at anything, though. it would make me feel so much better about my own mode of production. what's their incentive, anyway? Survival and what's the incentive of those threatening their lives? those folks are doing all the work anyways. Public humiliation if they fail. Loss of standing in the elite class (which is supposed to be an oxymoron for communism but somehow it never works out that way).

Does the level of competition not count? they're winning every game against inferior competition. that's what playoff teams do. i still think that they overtake us, and i don't think that's so crazy to believe. The Dodgers at least won't roll over for them. Let's see how it looks after that series. I agree they're a very good ballclub. Better than the Cubs? I'd like to at least play the games before admitting that one.

There's apparently nothing that can or will be done. And to be fair, the Chinese girls simply didn't have as many collapses as the US girls, so it's over.

They are 18-4 in their last 22 non-Cub games. If the Reds, Nationals, and Padres cant stop them, nobody can. I'm not overly concern about the Brewers.....the Brewers are not a team built for the high stakes, as evidence of last yr, or when the Cubs came to town. We the heat is on, I expect the Brewers to fold like wet paper bag. Unfortunately their schedule dictates that the heat will be on precious few times for the rest of the regular season.

This is one of those games where obviously you want to win, but you're almost more pissed at blowing the huge lead than you are happy to have won in the end. Actually I think we've had a game or two like that this year.

The Marlins are even more of a non factor for the division. Yeah, Id rather face the Cards then the Brewers if it came down to it, but I cant see that happen. Wouldnt you rather they be far off in the rear view mirror than in a 3 way race? Who said anything about the Marlins? What do they even have to do with anything? We're not in a 3 way race. The Cardinals are dead (as far as the Cubs are concerned). Go ahead and quote me and ridicule me in two months if I'm wrong. I don't expect to be. If you're wrong about this one it'll be pitchforks & torches :club: :mrgreen:
