I hope it doesn't get into an extravagant bidding war with Miami. I want him on the team, but not if we're overpaying by a wide margin I guess I look at it like even if you end up overpaying, it won't be a crippling contract like overpaying for Prince or Pujols had the potential to be. I mean, even if he gets something like 6/$48, that's really not that much in the grand scheme of things when you're talking about a $130+ million payroll. Also, our current leadership is much less likely to be drawn into vastly overpaying.
