    NFL Week 14

Most of Stafford's throws are half-assed sidearmed crap. Does he even care anymore?
  2. It's so much fun heading into a huge rivalry game with everyone expecting a loss. Not saying people should feel different. Just commenting on the sad state of this team now.

    NFL Week 14

Took 'em awhile, but the Lions have predictably pissed away their lead. Now to lose the game, like they always do in GB.
  4. What was he saying? Next weeks game is gonna bury this team barring more Cutler to Marshall magic Not really. They lose next week, and still have a chance to win the last 2 and make the playoffs.
  5. All-in-all I watch very little pre/post game coverage anymore. What's the point? It's the same dozen or so segments, over & over & over again.
  6. Marshall is all we've got.
  7. And that's it.
  8. Time to go all-in on the 4-down territory, gentlemen. TD here or bust.
  9. Cutler is tagged for the hospital. It's really only a matter of time.
  10. Another drop by a TE, what do ya know.
  11. This game is enough to make me think that we may, indeed, miss the playoffs. I still think we finish 10-6 and get in. I had this and next weeks game as a loss coming into today, with the next 2 being wins. I guess I didn't consider the level of panic and negativity that would surround the team if they went from 7-1 to 8-6 but I'll stick to my prediction. The Vikings are just nearly unbeatable at home....I never expect to win here unless snow caves in the roof. Momentum after losing a bunch in a row, though. That's the thing. Trying to pick up the pieces after dropping games to all these teams -- it's pretty hard. We'll beat Arizona though. That's non-negotiable :)
  12. This game is enough to make me think that we may, indeed, miss the playoffs. And yes, Lovie *should* be fired if we do miss the playoffs after starting 7-1.
  13. Yes. I can't imagine too many non-fans are sticking with this one.
  14. Davis has a nasty habit of stopping instead of running.
  15. Pretty amazing it's only a 7 point deficit. Thanks to Minny and their ineptness, it's cancelling out a portion of our own.
  16. Wait, what was that again?
  17. Even he realizes how precious every yard gained is, at this point.
  18. It depends on what uniform you wear.
  19. That happens to Peppers on every [expletive] [expletive] play. NFL refs are so full of [expletive].
  20. Give me a break. If I had a quarter for every time that isn't called on a Bear DLineman, I'd be a rich man. Total crap.
  21. That's our offense now. Throw it up to Marshall in double coverage, and hope he bails us out.
  22. We already know Lovie's offenses suck. If his defenses can't make it through a season, he brings nothing to the table anymore. I'm not one to hate on him unnecessarily, but if they don't pull it together enough to make the playoffs after a 7-1 start, it's time to move on.

    NFL Week 14

I like the randomness of the onside kick, especially since it really isn't worth a team specifically focusing on building a great onside kick recovery team. So it really does become a crapshoot at the end of the game, which I like in that situation. If they could find a way to keep the onside kick I would have much less objection to it. Think about how bad NFL officials are at calling pass interference penalties, defensive holding, etc. I think teams could exploit that on the "4th and 15" play; especially if they are a team with a savvy, top-line passing core of players. While I like the general move of the NFL to greater emphasis on passing, I'm not ready to put that advantage into the game in place of the onside kick. I think it needs much more thought. And I'm sure they will do a lot more think-tanking on it before it becomes reality. I don't think the onside kick, specifically, is the cause of injury. It's the long kickoffs with everyone flying down the field full force. One thing I agree with, looking at the plethora of articles that have come out since Goodell's comments: there's no way he would have floated the idea if it wasn't going to be seriously considered.
  24. I hope he's ready for that.

It would certainly further emphasize the value of having a good passing offense.
