    Can't see this Blues team getting very far, so after the Ducks/Sharks/Avs take them out, they can kiss our 2 Lord Stanley's Cups in the ass and go back to their WT hole of city.

    He's got less to work with than Sveum had in his first year. Let's see the development of the young guys, and if the trend isn't good - bring in the next guy Bunting thing still bugs me though. That's two managers in a row who seem to be big believers. What? Didn't Sveum go so far as to have a bunting competition?

    I guess I don't understand that notion that having Shea, Bostic, and Greene @ LB should mean that we don't need to worry about it in the draft.

    Huh? They knew this team would probably be bad and knew attendance would suffer as a result. They aren't going to be shocked when Wrigley is half empty and they aren't going to change their gameplan. You can bitch all you want about how [expletive] the team is and talk about how apathetic the fans are and nothing is going to change their timeframe for success. Nothing will deter them! In a couple years we'll either thank them for their determination, or damn them.

    Can't. Miley Cyrus is using the arena that night. Will there be enough time to disinfect it before Game 1? UPDATE! Miley was hospitalized for a severe allergic reaction and her Kansas City show last night was cancelled. The STL show tonight may well be cancelled now as well. Yep, she just cancelled tonight's show too. That's OK Cubbies are on.

    Cutler may be comfortable with Garza right now, too. Probably want to work DLP with him for awhile before just pulling the plug on Garza. This is one of those "doh, of course" moves -- did anyone see it coming before it happened?
