    I was thinking 3 run blast but the way it went down was just fine. I've got nothing against the Nats. I'd rather not see the Dodgers yet again, and of course weeping St. Louis fans would be loads of fun.

    I appreciate Sofa's level of fandom where he knows enough about the Cubs to conclude that they all suck, but just assumes there are infinite create a players in the MLB universe of every conceivable skill set ready (and available) to come in and fix all our problems. Apparently the pipeline of such players heads straight to Milwaukee.

    The best explanation I have is that Nagy is pulling it in a bit because he’s not confident in his QB. Still though, he’s an NFL head coach. Figure out something better than up-the-middle runs all 4th quarter that won’t get first downs.

    It’s a good call. He runs 10 yards and gets in his face for absolutely no reason. Their goon bulldogged our player to the ground long after the whistle. Why wasn’t that a flag? I don’t know but I don’t want my DB running at him from far away, and getting a stupid 15 yard penalty when I can give the ball back to my offense at the 50 instead.
