    Almost as pathetic as this team. Almost He was actually a pretty good sport. He said "you do the same for the Cubs" Fantastic. Ron Santo should do it everyday I don't disagree, but I'd rather not pile on Ueck when I don't have to. He's actually a pretty good guy and a real good play by play broadcaster.

    I find it illustrative that our pitchers give up 3 runs and they suck while other teams would call it a solid performance. It's because they know they can work with it and actually win the game, and we can't.

    Indeed. But lack of offense makes a 2 run lead seem insurmoutable. Meanwhile other teams erase such deficits with a flick of a finger.

    lol, this game thread has gone far beyond an emotional outlet. i honestly think tears have been shed. Take a hornets nest, shake it up, then have someone show up and plop a grenade down. That's a game thread when the Cubs are sucking.
