    I am NOT saying you're being childish. I just realize how inane this argument is right now and that the comment I made was very susceptible to a "you're a hypocrite" comment. Maybe I just mis-understood your post. I just got a really bad vibe from it. It sounded like you completely overreacted to what I said. All I asked was why Ramirez argued, and then you completely over-analyzed it. "What? You call that arguing?" It's like we're getting into a semantical battle or something. Just drop it. It's probably my fault that it started, but confusion and misinterpretation are the only reason its continuing. I should have just said nothing at all. You win. I'll concede this argument. Shouldn't you be on your own board celebrating your win and not in here bating posters? im not up on the lingo, but is that trolling? Yes, that would be trolling. He thinks I'm trying to set people or up something, which is really ridiculous. I'm with Illini. You're in a Cub game thread baiting posters. Good show.

    I'm liking what I'm seeing from Illinois. Even if they lose, they should be a much more watchable club this year. They're doing this without Juice, and I think Benn was sidelined too. The defense is doing things I haven't seen for years from them.

    Illinois' defense looks like it has improved a bit. Juice is still the most inaccurate passer in the NCAA though.

    I knew Michigan was vulnerable, but I didn't realize just how much. Go Illini! Me too, I knew they were overrated. The thing is though, I think App State is a serious contender for their championship. A part of this has to be stupid scheduling. Christ just play Central Michigan and enjoy your week 1 win. Didnt Michigan originally have Ball St or someone else from the MAC on their schedule this year. Only to knock them off and schedule App st instead. I didn't know that. If that's true it's double bad. Did App State win like 2 championships recently? It's like playing Marshall from the Randy Moss days........sure they're in a lower division but perhaps a true pushover would be a better decision for week 1.

    It was stupid not to run some more time off the clock, I agree. Worked out though, it only made the game that much more exciting to watch! Ahhh yes........COLLEGE FOOTBALL IS BACK EVERYONE!! Whoo, that was awesome!

    Hahaha, finally the real DBacks show their ugly faces. Horrid throw to 1st by the pitcher after Chris Young can't pick up the ball in the outfield. COL leads. Good, I'm sick of that crap team playing 10 miles above their heads.

    Chris Young has had a terrible night in the field for AZ. Runner on 3rd no outs for COL.

    I've reached that point with this offense against lefties. You know, that eyes-rolled-back, drooling, mumbling, labotomized apathetic point. They just plain old suck against lefties. I wouldn't let them face a single righty starter the rest of the year if I was trying to beat the Cubs. Bullpen pitchers, callups, guys off the street......any lefty will do.

    Lee looks like baseball players used to look - they have a peak year or two and then their avg years. That was before "enhancements" changed the patterns and the fans' perceptions. OK. Well that sucks. I have noticed that Lee's HR power is pretty much completely gone now. That's obvious of course, but it causes me no end of angst and frustration. Lee's power is no less gone than anybody else on the team. He has 3 times the number of home runs as anybody else since the Break. He'll probably end up with 12-13 home runs on the second half, which is consistent with Lee with just about every year but 2005. His first half was way down on the power though (which might have been working up the wrist strength), but he has shown some the last month and a half. Alright, well I'll admit maybe I'm a little spoiled from '05.
