  1. Uhh... did they digitally alter Devin Hester's speech pattern, so that most can understand him? I don't recall him speaking that clearly before.
  2. If it was "Tin Ginn" you'd be perfectly right. I think everyone misunderstands how much the media overrates Brady Quinn, and how underrate how much professional football teams don't care for him. And it was #9 not #10 :D
  3. You have just two as Matsui hit his first last night. Your two with goose eggs are: Soriano and Connor Jackson (wild card).
  4. It's supposed to rain most of the day tomorrow.
  5. CCCCCCUUUUUUUUUUUUURRRRRRRRRRRRSSSSSSSSSSSEEEEEEEEEEEE just continue to watch. i honestly can't understand how people can watch the cubs lose under the weirdest of circumstances for so long and honestly say there's not something crazy happening. you mean a collection of overpaid, crappy players being crappy is something supernatural? They're not paid to creatively suck, yet they do.... somehow. ;)
  6. Thank you for spelling it correctly. Too many people type "Heros". If it weren't for the Cubs, I'd be more frustrated about it, but I have enough on my plate right now.
  7. Vargas is trying to become the new "Human Rain Delay".
  8. I'd like it if the team caught up to A-Rod in home runs.

  10. One good game doesn't change the fact that he went 1 for 20 previously. Ah, but that "1" was a homer too. ;)
  11. Uh ... are you referring to the predictions contest? Because you're entered in the HR Derby.
  12. Save the Cheerleader! ... and then bring her to me... LOL
  13. Is there a place online to find old standings as they were on the date you're looking up? In other words, instead of finding the end-of-year standings for 2005 and 2006... can I look up where the Cubs were on a certain date in those years? Like a day-by-day database?
  14. I think this was posted on here last year or the year before.... can't remember when or by who, but I kept it, and it still (sadly) rings true:
  15. The VT coverage is more interesting than this game, and that's all repetitive coverage that gets annoying after awhile.
  16. Good theory. Nice one Mcdunnough. :? I hope you're kidding He's either injured or way too superstitious. or a slow starter You're right. I didn't even realize that until I just looked it up. His career ERA in April is over a run higher than any other month. Oh, so it'll be 8.53 in May?
  17. Maybe Z needs his blue alt to pitch well.
  18. You guys and gals do realize by the time you reply with how happy you are to be in a certain place in the standings, that you're already in a different slot?
  19. I'd also like to update that all transactions that have been posted, have been updated in the database. Thanks.
  20. Last year, the "perfect score" was determined by who you could have chosen in the A-D groups, and the Wild Card based on those chosen by the Derby community. This year, it continued the same way, like Laura has mentioned.
  21. I'm surprised no one has mentioned the Columbine tie-in, where it concerns sports. I was at Wrigley on 4/20/99, and there was a moment of silence before the game. Sadly for me, I hadn't heard anything about it, so I was kind of agitated because I didn't know what the moment of silence was about, because I couldn't hear the announcement. When I got home and heard the news, I felt bad about being agitated. Needless to say, the game was played.
  22. Lillly doesn't have the wicked hook that Hill has.
