  1. Until they win it, they will be. The future Bulls teams will always be compared to the Jordan years, iuntil they win it and the closer they get, the more you'll hear about it.
  2. Still have the '85 Bears :). Nothing will take that away. I think I'll watch the highlights of that '85 season.
  3. I think with Bradley, Berrian, and Davis and more year of Moose, they can survive with their WRs. They're not good, but with a better Grossman, they'll be avg. at the worst.
  4. I'd be satisfied with Benson as the full time RB. Having both is nice, but losing Jones would hardly be devastating. There are bigger fish to fry. Jones will be paid as a feature back for some other team's offense, I assume. I would go with Irons in the 2nd rd. if he's there. I'd love Irons too - not big enough/durable enough to be an everydown player and he should be there in the 2nd. Of couse they have bigger fish to fry with a second round pick. Depending on Briggs and if Jones is not back, I'd disagree. Beyond a S/CB, without Jones, HB becomes the priority followed by O-Line.
  5. Yeah. He'll likely hold out if he's not traded (assuming no new deal obviously).
  6. I'd be satisfied with Benson as the full time RB. Having both is nice, but losing Jones would hardly be devastating. There are bigger fish to fry. As long as there's a solid #2 option to get some carries or a third down back (and Benson is ok - I hope he didn't have a lasting injury today). I really think AP could be that guy. Him and Benson are too similar, IMO. They seem to like the concept of a change of pace back, they'll just switch from finesse to power to power to finesse.

  8. Grossman's progression as well as Berrian's and Bradley's (and his ability to stay healthy will be key. They will need to overhaul this O-Line soon as well, just not before locking in the defense.
  9. They should put the franchise tag on Briggs, but I dont see that happening. I believe Ed Reed is going to be a FA at safety. The Bears need a safety, IMO. They're going to have to draft a line backer, a HB, possibly even a tight end, and a OL in the draft. The odds of bringing Briggs back are much greater than the odds of signing Reed as a FA.
  10. This is part of the progression, the Bears are still a young team with a 2nd yr. QB worth of exper., hopefully Benson will be healthy and Briggs will be back. They need a CB to shift Tillman at safety or another S in the 1st, HB in the 2nd if they lose Jones, and some OL depth.
  11. He has every right to the call media ignorant, he was more correct about that than they have been about him.
  12. Most of the media and Bears fans are morons, so I doubt they'll look at it objectively. He had a bad game, he's had several of them and several great games, enough glimpses of great games to merit seeing what he can do with more experience.
  13. The only thing about as disappointing as the Bears are these commericals.
  14. They whipped the Bears in every aspect except special teams. Still upsets me off though. :x
  15. His instincts as a safety are about as good as mine.
  16. I should say that (QB) Edwards from Stanford would look nice in the 3rd as a sleeper.
  17. Griese isn't any better. He can't possibly be worse than Grossman. Rex doesn't do anything well. Griese is worse. They're both bad. I draft or trade for a QB in the offseason. I'd draft more of a project one, they have too many holes to use picks on something in the 1st.
  18. Griese isn't any better. He can't possibly be worse than Grossman. Rex doesn't do anything well. Sure he can, his strengths aren't the Bears need. He's a good back-up/bad starter, people forget that this is Rex's 1st season. I'm not sold on him, but I'm willing to give him next year.
  19. Hey! A 1st down of 10+ yards with a throw over the middle.
  20. My thoughts are mainly with Benson and Briggs right now.
  21. God damn it, bad play call, even worse pass. Why not con't to work the middle.
