Fwiw, if I knew Huff would be gone I would not have made the trade.

I had a hard time deciding whether doumit + what I gave up would have been better than Martin. Then I figured that Doumit wouldn't last until where I wanted to draft him, anyway. I figured it was worth the risk, espec. with Martin's exemption clock running out and i don't see much of a drop-off in production.

lol - not disputing anything. I was just pointing out the O's willingness to live with a wild man in the rotation. They could set a record for walks if they put both Hill and Liz in the rotation, though. Fwiw, Cabrera is more talented than Hill. That would be fun to watch them on back to back days. It could be even more fun watching them pitch on the same day since they no longer play on the same team. Daniel Cabrera is a Washington Nat. Yep, which is why I said "that would be" instead of "it will be".

Do tell? don doesn't have a 3b and i took atkins one pick before he was going to. i pick two spots before him next time around and i was going to dangle my pick in a trade if huff was still there. I'm not too worried about 3b, but i'd be willing to take that pick off of your hands! Huff is not the first person I was thinking about for 3b.. Would it be unethical if I mentioned who I think it is? =)
