  1. Why wouldn't you buy them now? I want to be 100% sure the game is being played. I doubt I get a refund if it's not. They are $100+ each for 300 level. Around $200+ each for 200 level. It's fortuitous that I happen to be in Chicago that day! Seriously? My tickets were $145 and we were in the 2nd from last [expletive] row at the top of the stadium on Monday night. Bought them. $124 each for 300 level center. Near the back. I'm not paying triple to be 100 feet closer. Now they better win tonight.
  2. Atlanta keeps taking those bad shots they were draining in game 1!

  4. As soon as they win this game, I'm buying game 5 tickets on Stubhub.
  5. I wish Rose would try to get to the basket more.
  6. Consider the source. Their coach. During the time out and during a half time interview.
  7. Atlanta keep harping on shot selection. Really? They took the SAME shots in game 1. And made them. I guess shots are only bad when you miss them.
  8. A brief one. David Stern presented the award and DRose gave a 10 second speech.
  9. Korver is getting abused by Teague. Take him out.
  10. Anyone else not like that fade away by Korver off the screen? He rarely seems to hit it.
  11. The Hawks aren't taking worse shots today than in game 1. Except they were making them in game 1.
  12. I'd rather Rose throw up a wide open 3 than Brewer throw up a 17 footer.
  13. The Bulls better start hitting open shots.
  14. Just watched the game on DVR. If Joe Johnson and Jamal Crawford are going to shoot like that, there's not much you can do. I'm not worried yet.
  15. DWade > LBJ LeBron is probably the best role player in the history of basketball. Nothing he ever does is spectacular. The only thing spectacular about him is his physical attributes.
  16. That lame ass whiteout is going to give DWade another migraine.
  17. Kirk vs. Jamal? Is that even an argument? It's not even close. We caught a big break with Kirk being out. Bring on Jamal Crawford. He doesn't scare me at all. Haven't we as Bulls fans learned what Jamal is all about? He can score. And can't do much else. Thank goodness Isaiah fell for the allure of all the points he used to score on a crappy team. The main improvement Jamal Crawford has had since leaving is he's realized he's not a superstar and doesn't jack 20 shots per game.
  18. Whenever he gets moved into the middle of the order, he stops hitting homers and starts sucking. At least that's my perception. I wonder if the stats back it up. I'd bet he has a much higher home run rate with no men on base, as opposed to when there are men on base. Of course, no one here believes in "clutch" so if it's true, its probably pure coincidence. Giving that he's spent most of his career hitting first in the lineup that shouldn't be too hard to understand at all. And his career numbers hitting 5th or 6th are fine. I was referring to his home run RATE. Not total home runs. Rate has nothing to do with where you're hitting. So I looked it up. He's hit 204 HR's in 3704 AB's (1 per 18.15 AB's) with no men on base. He's hit 117 HR's in 2288 AB's (1 in 19.6 AB's) with men on base. His career numbers .281/.520/.845 with bases empty, .269/.490/.815 with bases occupied. Maybe not that big of a gap, but clearly there's a gap. Of course, you might argue that he spent the prime of his career batting leadoff. But even if you're cleanup you come up with the bases empty and you hit with men on base batting leadoff, especially in the AL on teams like the Yankees. I would argue that Soriano is unclutch.

  20. He should've held a press conference to announce that they were just happy to be here. Maybe he should refrain from saying stuff like...we should be up 3-0. Or...if we win game 5, we will win the series. And then have the look of an Ivy League coach who makes the NCAA tourney and draws the ACC champ in round 1.
  21. Yeah. It would be a team without Rose.
