  1. Stay with the current crop of skill positions on Offense (other than a new back-up RB). Revamp the line -- I mean blow it up (again) and finally freakin' fix it.
  2. Someone wrap them up. Frustrating.
  3. Our offensive line is an absolute joke.
  4. Looks like Ron Turner is calling plays for Seattle, too.
  5. No thanks, we're fine. No really, you need the help.
  6. How imaginative. Please fricking send Turner to the Packers.
  7. Try not to run into your own blocker, Wolfe.
  8. We give up a lot of those points, unfortunately.
  9. Boo! He made it. Can I just say how tiring it is to give third and long time and again? Get off the field, dammit!
  10. Time for Mare to miss again.
  11. That was a Lovie-esque challenge.
  12. Pace got raped on that play, dude OK yeah offensive line failures sure but Cutler is still flinging the ball up in the air instead of taking a sack when we are in FG range either way and it's first down. Cutler was outside the tackle box.. just throw it out of bounds.
  13. Seriously, the Bears look like my son's crap.
  14. That was an awful play by Tillman. Awful.
  15. Jesus Christ. That was utterly terrible. Clownish.
  16. I hate Ron Turner. Why go long there?
  17. You aren't worried about the inexperienced receivers? The terrible o-line play? Cutler's bad decision making? The average coach that Lovie is? The poor DBs the Bears put out there? You're underrating the Packers a bit here. It's not like they were chopped liver. They played similarly in the face of a tough Bears team. I was more upset about the general decision-making. Look, Mannelly's decision was really dumb, but that's not why the Bears lost. The problem was with the turnovers. If they don't turn the ball over, this is an easy win. I'm not an expert, but I think that the route running was sloppy and the Packers keyed on stopping Olsen. The answer was running the ball, effectively using your dump-offs and forcing the Pack to spread the defense out. They did in the second half and were very effective. Oh, and we really need a top CB. Vasher's lost two steps and his reactions are terrible. Tillman is on the decline as well.
  18. You're over-reacting a bit. We can drop points on the road and be okay. Definitely not at home. For example, Mexico has no road points and is playing in Saprissa today. ES and TT are done. That leaves CR, MEX, HON and US for the 4 spots. All that's left to determine is who has the playoff with CONMEBOL (which we really don't want of course).
  19. Wow. Very harsh.
  20. If people really think the Bears are a crappy franchise, just read about how the Redskins squeeze every dime out of their fans in today's Post... http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/02/AR2009090203887.html?hpid=topnews http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2009/09/01/AR2009090103984.html?hpid=topnews Hey, look at that. The Redskins aren't on Silver's "Dysfunctional List". I know it's easy to get defensive about your favorite teams, but the Bears aren't a poorly run team (anymore). Before Virginia took things back, though, that was another story.
  21. I had the pleasure of watching this game last night, and I thought the Bears did fine. They struggled a bit offensively to start the game, but I think all that is a good thing. The intensity of the game was much more like a regular game -- maybe even an important game -- than a pre-season game. That can only help the offense (and defense) come together. More importantly, once the Bears had good field position (or at least not terrible field position), the offense looked better. The O-Line still needs some work.
