    Soto starts to get pricey after this year and Castillo is waiting in the wings. It's makes sense to sell high on Geo at some point before july 31st.

    After the Garza deal is gone I'm eagerly awaiting to see if Theo will find tickets out of town for Z ,Alfonso, Byrd, Marmol, Soto, Dewitt, Baker

    I think the Cubs in a unique spot to still possibly maximize Marmols trade vaule. With eating a good portion of his paycheck he could be tacked on to a Garza deal with the Tigers. Getting value for Marmol and flipping Madson at the deadline would a great way to help Theo and company accelerate the rebuilding process. I

    I recall J.R Smith being a free agent this offseason and OJ Mayo is still on the block. Anyone else on the free agent market in the way of 2 guards?

    I saw Horace Grant last spring in Vegas. The guys Arms are massive. Tonight would be a great night to give Deng and Rose a rest in the fourth.

    If only Hendry could convince the Rangers to take Alfonso back. The Cubs could use Youngs bat at second.

    Why not just go after Grienke and up the ante a little? I think between Wells and Gorgz you could get some pieces to help send over in a deal to the Royals. Grienke Zambrano Dempster Webb ? Silva/Cashner/Shark/Coleman

    Assuming Tom G is on his way out and we sign Webb. Z Dempster Webb Silva Cashner/Shark/Archer/Coleman/Diamond/ Does Hendry have enough depth to trade Wells in a package with Fukodome somewhere to help net more salary relief?

    Johnson would be a nice pickup it would have to take more than Theriot to even get the Cubs to the table. 1B free agent 2B Johnson SS Castro 3b Ramirez C Soto pretty nice offensive potential from the Cubs infield next year.

    I hope Hendry doesn't stop the dealing at just Lilly. He has to be attempting to dump Theriot/Baker/Hill/Nady for anything.

    Rather gamble on Smotlz then overpay with prospects for Frasor.
