  1. At the very least he's making Urias throw some pitches
  2. Soler is like 0-7 in this postseason I think that might change with consistent ABs.
  3. He pretty much said himself that he hasn't had consistent command of his cutter this season, and that he works off of that pitch a lot, iirc. Yes but he's also recently said that he's found the command again and is comfortable using the pitch again. In his last start he threw it 29 times, the most since April. Not sure how many times today but either way it doesn't seem to be translating to any sort of added success. I'm pretty sure he said that during the SF series. Plus, there's a difference between throwing it, and consistently commanding it. I mean clearly Jake's issues have stem from losing command at points, mostly within starts. when he was ruling the world last year, he and others attributed his success to repeating his mechanics. I'd bet the inverse is true when he struggles.

  5. Not particularly worried yet. That'll change in a hurry if we lose tomorrow.
  6. I'll assume that you mean the series Both! If we win, I may actually get my celebratory drunk on
  7. Wait a [expletive] second now. Yeah, we don't need anyone going full meatball
  8. You'd probably be able to punch him between the eyes with room to spare. Rich Hill is ugly
  9. A few of the guys for sure, but not the whole team. Rizzo and Russell have been the problem. Rizzo is such a catalyst for the rest of the offense, having him cold is really problematic. Rizzo's approach is getting better, but Russell seems to be in full on hero mode.
  10. So Hawk4Hall gets a bit carried away in the heat of the moment and is quickly chased away, yet Formerly Poster X here's been all out trolling for the better part of 48 hours and it's all good? No, he's being a complete dingus, but that horse has been beaten already. And Hawk4Hall is always like that.
  11. Heyward watches two middle-middle fastballs, swings at junk in the dirt.
  12. Jesus Christ you are garbage. You'd think you'd learn something from being such a [expletive] abomination last week. Do us all a favor and go away. Stop acting like you own this place dumbass. Maybe in here you think you are someone but you aint. Get bent. Seriously though, you and a few others only seem to post when things aren't going well, and just piss and moan and meatball. I'd put money down that like 70-80% of your posts are pure, mindless negativity. I know misery loves company, but if that's all people are gonna do, it'd be nice if they did it somewhere else.
  13. Petition to immediately ban anyone using the phrase "gutless choking dog"
  14. Rizzo does this and then ends up hitting 3 HRs in 2 games. Russell on the other hand......... Yeah, they have to be spread out in the order, and if I had to keep one in the middle, it'd be Rizzo. He's going to come out of this sooner or later.
  15. The previous four games were 5-5-6-8, runs wise. Not abysmal. But definitely not where it should be. Russell has to be moved out of the five spot. Having two hitters who are slumping badly back to back in the middle of your lineup can't continue. What was the team OPS in those four games Not sure, but gonna guess it was better than the opposition in almost all of them
  16. Good point; it's been a whole 24 hours since they scored 8. I don't think we can count on 9th inning grand slams going forward. This offense has been bad the entire postseason The previous four games were 5-5-6-8, runs wise. Not abysmal. But definitely not where it should be. Russell has to be moved out of the five spot. Having two hitters who are slumping badly back to back in the middle of your lineup can't continue.
