That wasn't a strike. Ask the guy who watched it on gameday Bring on robot umps, until they tell me something I don't like. Then I'll trust my eyes, just like the umpires I hate. To be fair, I don't think FOX's K zone and Gameday's are quite on the same page. -

To be fair, that ball that starts in the LH batter's box and cuts back over the left side of the plate is a really hard pitch for Rizzo to deal with.

I don't know. Perceived bias aside, his analysis is consistently and objectively poor. Yeah, he has bad opinions and rambles way too much I don't know how many times he has talked about how a hitter "can't catch up" with a pitch after fouling it straight back or having it timed perfectly. And a million other stupid things that he should know better than.

There's no valid reason to direct any vitriol at a player simply for underperformance. Especially a hard working, A+ personality like Jason Heyward. It's preposterously childish, meatball behavior.
