I have mixed feelings about the move. On the one hand, Jon hasn't allowed much. On the other, his command hasn't been great, and I feel like he's gotten away with some pitches.

I had MLB Network videos on the other day as background noise, and there was a segment where Chris Russo was waxing moronic about how the Cubs weren't a great team, while Brian Kenney tried in vain to talk sense to him. At one point Russo was going on about how the Cubs' defense was bad, citing the fact that they committed multiple errors in the NLDS. I swear I about stroked out for a minute.

I'm not concerned, but it wouldn't hurt my feelings to see the lineup tweaked a bit. Fowler Zobrist Bryant Rizzo Baez Heyward Russell Catcher Considering current trends, that's about how I would do it.

I know Maddon and Rizzo insist that he isn't pressing, but he very clearly is. Did it last postseason, too.

Also, after ruminating on last night's events, I want to thank Hunter Strickland/Posey for going fastball on 0-2 to Baez, which was incredibly stupid.

I listened to the Giants' radio feed of the ninth hoping for some misery porn, but it was Jon Miller, and he is too much of a pro for that. I was kind of disappointed.
