  1. My BPM has come down a bit. Probably only 110 or so now. Fug yeah, Addy!
  2. I've really come to dislike Gonzalez this series, and that was before his bitchfest over the replay
  3. Should be 3-0, but two runs and 30 pitches? I'll take it.
  4. hahahahahahaha horsefeathers you Toles, you bearded imp
  5. Yeah, but he knows he's not going to go 7 innings, just trying to give the Cubs as many innings as he can. All the Cubs are simply hoping not to be incinerated by stellar incandescence of Clayton Kershaw.
  6. I experience tons of emotions during Cubs games, but I am almost never demonstrative at all. Things may be different tonight.
  7. Man, this going to be horsefeathering intense.
  8. Don't get so drunk you can't enjoy (or recall) the game
  9. I prefer to imagine him hitting a walk-off PH homer to end the world series.
  10. I've hung out at GRB for as long as it has been there, though I don't post much. As far as rival boards go, it's pretty good. Most posters there are relatively knowledgeable and reasonable. I like to go to Cards Talk to watch the crazed idiot monkeys fling feces at each other.
  11. That both sucks and is awesome at the same time, I guess. Hope you're healing well! The injury sucks, but I should completely recover, though carrying around a few screws and plates. But if I get to watch a Cubs world series win (or just getting to the world series, if I'm being honest) live, this incapacity will have been totally worth it.
  12. Last month I was injured at work, and I've been out since. One upside is that this has allowed me to watch all the playoff games, since my typical shifts wouldn't allow me to. Well, I was supposed to return this coming week, which would have kept me from watching any potential weekday world series games live. But a couple of days ago the Insurance company and my employer agreed that I should take 2-3 more weeks. So even though I am completely non-superstitious, I am going to interpret this as providence, and that there will be Cubs world series games for me to watch.
