I think getting that playoff experience will help them more than failing in the regular season brilliant insight Just saying, I don't think there's a positive spin to having these guys fail against bad teams in the regular season.

I mean worse case scenario is you fire Malee and the new hitting coach doesn't help, you're still in the same spot you're in now. The Royals fired their hitting coach midseason last year and went to the World Series with Dale Sveum
No it's just a bad weekend imo but obviously things are trending downward so while its concerning its not hot garbage level yet They're about to be 5-8 in a stretch against the White Sox, Braves, Reds, and Phillies. It's not just one bad weekend

I'd take our team over the next 10 years over theirs I'd take the Cubs just based on the fact that Theo/Jed have been there before and the Cubs are going to be able to out-spend the Astros. But right now, the Astros are ahead of us while starting their rebuild right around the same time.
