    I agree with this. His walk rate is concerning, he has played all of 2 weeks at 2B. Just because Herrera is complete trash doesn't mean Russell couldn't have benefitted from 100+ more ABs at AAA. Just because Russell would benefit from 100+ more ABs at AAA, doesn't mean you keep him down at the expense of the major league team. With recent developments, La Stella may end up coming back and playing 3b. Coglhan has been struggling, and Bryant is gonna get some games in the outfield.

    Hasn't it been four games? No. He didn't have it on for the previous 2 games, and I think he only wore it once at Wrigley. Soler is too big to wear a ninja mask, if anything he needs a Samurai Kabuto

    yeah, if russell is sent down when la stella returns, i'm going to be awfully concerned that theo got drunk and called addison up without talking to anyone else after watching herrera ground out weakly for the 20th straight time Mike Trout was sent down after his first call up so sometimes its a good thing.

    This is a good point too. I thought the whole basis of 9th being the "2nd" leadoff man is you want a guy who has a decent eye at the plate, and that is the one area addy still needs to work on a bit, taking BB's. Its not just based on 2 games in the bigs, he also had a low walk rate in the minors too. Unless he is tearing the cover off the ball, when La Stella is ready he might be the better for 'now'. No use in having Russell come off the bench he needs to play every day.

    The majority of scouts seem to have had him MLB ready last year or early this year at the latest. A year ago he was getting summer 2014 ETAs by some of the prospect guys. Are you basing this off of two games? I think that he was comfortable hitting before Bryant in AAA but yeah the game is all about adjustments and there is no way around that i suppose.

    I know its a small sample and the yips (even tho he said he dont have them) but i feel like maddon should ease off the pitcher 8th thing and bat addy 2nd for a few weeks... and also put bryant 3rd (like they were in iowa) fowler addy bryant rizzo soler castro catcher lf p

    the only reasonable thing i can think in regards to this situation is that theo is trying to work on a deal for the pen and bench and he needs some guys in the minors to get longer sample sizes to flip them? ie. vogelbach etc..., ?(sp?)

The bench, CMON THEO DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT! groin tightness for fowler haven't heard anything else ah the cold weather coulda had something to do with it, honestly i dont mind bryant in CF lol didnt he play there alot in College? As others said this 3 catcher / 8 men in the pen situation has to get fixed Who woulda replaced Rizzo at 1st if Bryant had jacked one? Wood? Maddon is crazy LOL
