But you have a backup catcher that bats LH? The way that Joe runs this team is that he always likes his LH / RH splits i dont see them totally abolishing a RH backup. So you potentially go into the playoffs with 3 C's on the roster? Cant Schwarb play some LF?

i thought you stopped watching after 08 that time was a blurr i actually dont remember when i actually stopped. it was after one of the heart crushing flops for sure.

Every player has slumps we know that, and Schwarber will have one too, but what do the Cubs do when Montero is ready to come back? I hope they start having Schwarber out in LF during BP and working with the coaches, cuz his bat will be needed for sure.

Well, that's terrifyingly bad. The fact that the Front Office and Media seem fixated on a pitcher clearly haven't seen the offensive "production" from CF, 2B, and SS lately. And having a bench that's this awful offensively isn't helping. No Bryant, no Schwarber, No Coghlan + Beeler... Think ill go see ant man tonight.

Wood threw more than an inning last night, so there's probably no one who will go 2+ innings today. Which is fine because they have 9 relievers. EDIT: And Hendricks has already thrown 6 innings today. hate to be negative nancy but i think beeler is out by the 3rd or 4th
