    The thing about taking Schwarber is, there doesn't seem to be a lot of risk in taking him, provided he's physically able to play. He can pinch hit, DH, and guarantee not to play the field. If after a game or 2, they deem him just not ready, they can swap him out for the rest of the series, IIRC. I love this team.

    After correctly predicting the Cubs would score 10 runs last night, I'd like to continue my streak of predicting them to be awesome. Conversely, I had unwarranted faith in the Raging Dick-Cheese. Tonight, I have warranted faith in Jon Lester. After a short outing in game 1 and fuming at Joe, Lester's leash will be understandably long tonight against a pathetic Dodgers squad against lefties. He's been dominant all year and in the playoffs. Complete Game, 4 hits, Cubs win 4-1. Go Cubs.

    I have supreme confidence in this team to get the job done tonight. Lackey goes 7 tonight, gives up 1 run, the offense wakes up and scores 10 runs. I cannot believe this team would get to this point and just fold like an accordion. They're better than this. They will swing back at the Dodgers tonight.
