  1. Arrieta's stuff is filthy. I admittedly watched few Cubs games last year (they suck and I live far away), but I'm super impressed with him.
  2. Slap ya mama.
  3. That's what I'm talking about. Love it.
  4. He [expletive] murdered it. Best part was that Jumbo knew he just [expletive] the bed.
  5. I know it sounds lame this early in the season, but I can't remember being this excited about a Cubs team since I used to ditch school at least once a week to attend games. Sadly, I'm relegated to the East Coast Trips these days instead of the warm sunshine of Wrigley Field. Super stoked for this team this year.

  7. When 90 year old Bill Raftery can tell definitively...
  8. I'm pulling for Wisconsin, but only Okafor and Winslow are going to be "rental" players. They're operating within the NCAA framework. Blame the system, not Duke. ETA: Maybe Tyus Jones too
  9. God, Bernstein used to be entertaining and smart. Now he's a raging prick and the ultimate troll. I hate him championing these selfish causes while stroking himself while he writes pieces as a senior writer. Please get him off the air.
  10. @AdamSchefter: Ravens OC Gary Kubiak turned down HC interviews today and told the team's website he plans to remain with Baltimore.
  11. From Adam Schefter: Several NFL executives believe that it’s possible for Bears QB Jay Cutler to go from being benched to becoming a first-scenario, test-case trade. Never before has a team trading a player also had to give up drat-pick compensation to get rid of him. But some NFL executives believe that with any team having to absorb $25.5 million worth of guarantees in Cutler’s contract, the Bears might have to package a decent draft pick to get another team to take him. NFL rules dictate that nominal compensation must be exchanged between teams, but it could mean another team surrendering a late-round pick to Chicago for Cutler and a better pick. Such a scenario could enrage Bears fans, but to get a team to take on so much guaranteed money that could be used on valuable free agents and contract extensions, the Bears just might have to compensate a team with more than Cutler to do it.
  12. I assume you're talking about Kevin Martin? Really like that idea.
  13. Yes to Marion. Does anybody have any semblance of caps pace left
  14. I might be in the minority on this, but I think the bulls would better served seeking out a strong wing player in a trade for Gibson as opposed to sacrificing three or more assets for a guy who may not even be here next year. I think bigs are a serious strength and Gibson definitely has the potential to be a great asset to help us fill our biggest void, which is a quality starting 2/3. This would have to mean the bulls would be placing serious trust in mirotic.
