If Jay ends up to be an elite closer instead of a good starting pitcher would he still be worth taking at 9? I would personally be okay with drafting someone like a Papelbon at #9 especially in what seems to be a relatively weak draft.

Alcantra seems like a lost cause hopefully he can improve his numbers at triple a enough to trick some team into trading for him.

You could probably get 2 pitchers like Zimmerman and Kazmir for what it would cost to sign David Price. I would prefer upgrading 4 and 5 instead of just splurging on Price.
