I figure this will be a good debut for Edmonds. If his bat speed is reduced, Maddux isn't the type of pitcher to bust him inside with hard fastballs. If he's willing to go the other way against Maddux, he should have a good day. I'll predict 2/4 with a double as his line.

I'll admit it, I keep waiting for the other shoe to drop with Theriot, but it hasn't happened yet. If he can continue posting an OPS over .700 and keep that OPS+ above 100, I won't complain about him continuing to play.
