    Edmonds is a shell of his former self. He has little power and his swing looks horrid. Frankly, Reed Johnson is better against RHPs than him.

    Considering Wood was facing what should have been a relatively easy lineup of Chavez-PH-Sanchez, he should have been able to get that without much trouble. Saving Marmol for the 9th would have been really stupid, considering he faced better hitters than Wood.
