Thank you! I seriously do not get why people are fellating Escobar the way they have been. It's not to say that he's a bad prospect or anything, but I do not think the guy will end up being a top-flight SS when all is said and done. I just don't see it.

Frankly, I don't think Escobar is much more valuable than Cedeno. Everything about Escobar's numbers are driven by a high batting average and his patience at the plate is rather atrocious. He's not ready and he probably will never be productive at the major league level until he learns how to draw walks. Lillibridge could be an interesting player down the line, but he's not much younger than Cedeno and has far less ML experience than Cedeno. Plus, there's not a whole lot of power there. Neither of those guys are much better than Cedeno, quite frankly. If you think either of them could get it done, but Cedeno can't, I'd like to hear your reasoning.

I enjoy the fact that Peoria is 10-5 in the second half of the season while in the midst of a 10 game winning streak.

I'm guessing it involves Griffey.

It's tough to tell. He apparently was quite productive in EXST and has had a good showing in the AZL so far, but the guy is 5'8 (and apparently ripped). He's young enough that he still might grow a few inches, but it is hard to tell whether the guy will ever be able to hit for meaningful power in his career. Everything else sounds pretty good, though. We'll see if he can stick at SS and whether he'll continue to be a switch hitter as he gets older, though.

So I imagine that they will just have a new Seattle Sonics team in a year or two then? The Memphis Grizzlies are a good candidate to move.

A combination of graduations (Gallagher, Marshall, Soto), injuries (Rhee, Suarez), untimely slumps (Colvin, Donaldson, Pie, Cedeno, Hill), and being massively overhyped (Samardzija, Harvey) has hurt quite a bit.
