  1. Meh, it could be something like what happened last offseason with Rinku Singh and Dinesh Patel, who were both 19 at the time. Neither might never amount to anything, but they did get contracts from the Pirates.
  2. Actually, he's come out with quite a bit more information, but from what I can tell, he has thus far been unable to substantiate his claims. A lot of this stuff is basically "he said, he said" without any hard evidence. Unless another ref gets busted or some sort of a smoking gun comes out, I don't think we'll ever know if he was telling the truth or just trying to ingratiate himself with federal prosecutors. Link
  3. Id rather face the Mets or Phillies than the Dodgers, who with or without Manny are pound for pound the best team in the NL. Their pitching ranges from promising youngsters to piece of trash veterans. That's not a good combination for a team that wants to compete. Randy Wolf is not going to maintain a 2.95 ERA. The Dodgers would be idiots to have Clayton Kershaw pitch over 200 innings.

  5. He's the best in his field. I'd actually be worried if his name was not mentioned in any of this.
  6. We need some new Sausage Races! http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/8606/custom1241840499690saush.jpg
  7. I love seeing all of the Cubs fans in the bleachers.
  8. Hey Fred, how many games have the Cubs had this season without an error?
  9. When he's hot, Soriano's the best hitter on this team by leaps and bounds. When he's not, he's the worst hitter on this team by a substantial margin.
  10. That's when you're supposed to interfere, Brewers fans.
