Never heard of that rule before. Good to know. :good: According to Bob, if the runner was on the move, the base is considering unoccupied and Soriano could have run. However, if the runner was holding at 1B, the base is occupied. I just explained this rule to my boss. He is at the game and sent me a text screaming about Soriano, lol. Meh, I'm sure he would have found another reason to boo Soriano anyways. I'm looking forward to the inevitable Phil Rogers backhanded compliment.

I don't mind if he shows it, but that sequence of events was kind of strange. The guy isn't exactly great at it. He was actually pretty successful doing that for TB since defenses started to shift against him. Really? Hm. It didn't seem that way from his AB, but I'll take your word for it.
