    Why? That's just ridiculous. Alright, that was over the top. But that Manny thread is now at 10 pages and it ain't all "we don't him" or "1000% chance of not getting him, so forget about it". Seems like more than a few people are really hoping and wishing it'll happen. I hope like all heck that we get him. I wish that we would get him. But that doesnt come close to meaning I think we will actually get him.

    For some uber-retarted reason my boss has me working 12:30 -4. What in the blue hell was he thinking? A three and a half hour shift? Crazy old man. Of course those 3.5 hours fall right ontop of the flippin deadline (assuming the deadline is 3 ET like it was last year)

    Hell it might even be a joke. Probably is. But having said that, I'd make that deal in a heartbeat. Only reservation would be Glendon Rusch. He's probably our most versitile pitcher. Lets see, how did IMB put it a while back.... "I'd do it and touch myself while doing so" Seriously, that is obviously a joke. And if its not......then.....well, that'd be kick ass. But. Its a joke. so oh well.

Because he has been producing when dusty bats him there.

ANyways, Look at the difference. There is a .3 point diffence in his OPS. And his SLG that you speak of is .401 away.....

    Probably and didn't the Boston media say the same thing about Nomar and running out ground balls? These guys (Boston press) have a worse case of ADD then any kid I've ever met. I think they did. I cant be sure. I remember some calling him a clubhouse cancer and demanding a trade and such, though.

    I think manny's clubhouse problems or whatever are vastly overblown by the boston media. The boston media is friekin harsh (look at what they did to nomar). Even if he is a prick. I dont care. Lou Gehrig and Babe Ruth didnt talk to each other for five frickin years and they survived.
