  1. he's got moxie, heart, grit. he chews tobacco and slides headfirst into home plate. he doesn't use daggum computers. he can pick the next sammy sosa out of a group of 100 lanky 13 year-old dominicans just by shaking their hands and staring in their eyes. he doesn't write books about himself. That made me laugh rather hard.
  2. Festivus is the 23rd of December. Also, since the only part we really post about is the airing of greivences, we should probably post it in rants.

    WR Help!

I have one WR spot filled by Harrison. So i'll probably go Moss/Henry. But Moss has been Mr. Unhealthy here of late.
  4. Please  So, I've looked at this a few hundred times and I still cant figure out what was so disagreeable with the above statement. Wanna help me?

    WR Help!

Okay, So I have a mini-dilema on my hands for the first round of the playoffs. I have 2 WR spots and one WR/RB flex position. Marvin Harrison is one of my WR starters, but I'm not sure what to do with the final WR spot and the flex position. Here's who's available: -WR Santana Moss (listed as probable) v. the Saints -WR Reggie Williams v. the Titans -WR Isaac Bruce v. the Raiders -WR Chris Henry v. the Colts -RB Ahman Green v. the Lions Also, I may have to throw Green into the starting RB position because one of my RB's (Dunn) is listed as questionable... HELP.
  6. I Saw that too, origionally. Holy crap.
  7. I assure you that 1) our tree was not much more than 100 dollars and 2) it is not easily distinguishable as fake. That is, it doesnt look plastic and oddly shaped. And no, the trees my grandparents have had over the years are not indicative of all real trees. On the same token, I suppose that because you have seen many 100 dollar fake trees and have picked them out as fake, that rule goes for all fake trees in that price range? I dont care whether you like real or fake; but when you vehamently express how much you "detest" things that are part of many peoples holiday rituals, dont be shocked when you are met with opposing views.
  8. Honestly. Is it even possible not to like him? Besides being the perfect athletic specimin he is also a great guy, and seemingly very humble.
  9. I really enjoy him. I know I know roidsroidsroids That being said. LDT LDT LDT LDT LDT LDT LDT LDT LDT LDT
  10. BUMP He just broke the single season touchdown record. He has 29. In 13 games. =P~
  11. Have you ever actually had a fake tree? They're really no form of evil. Nope. Never have, never will. I know people who do. What's your point? I know they're not evil, but unless you spend big bucks on a fake one, you can tell they're fake. Even if it doesn't look fake, if you see a tree and don't smell the pine scent (which I like) you can tell it's a fake. Why does it matter if you know it's fake? And furthermore, thats a flat out lie that you have to spend big bucks on a tree for it to look real. Ours wasn't much over a hundred dollars. We've had it for about 7 or 8 years now. Real tree's cost 25 dollars at the Lions Club in town. So thus far we have saved 75-100 dollars. Also, My granparents have a real tree and I cant smell it unless I walk up and put my nose right to it, so whats the point?
  12. I dont get the whole thing about "handling" the second spot in the rotation. He'll pitch once every five days like every other starter, there is litereally no difference between pitching second or third in the rotation.

  15. Have you ever actually had a fake tree? They're really no form of evil.
  16. That shouldnt have made me laugh as hard as it did.
  17. No option for 100+ games :)
  18. Would have been much more clever without the hint.
  19. Oh my lord, can we PLEASE start cutting out some of those HUGE quotes. That last post was outrageous, Raisin.
  20. Ewww, when did the number jump from 20 to 28. Thats nasty. 9.3 million per year? yuck.
  21. My guess is about 80. Soriano and a healthy Lee boost the offense. But our pitching staff is bleh outside of Z and we lose a lot of 7-6 games.
  22. Fake. I have always had a fake tree, my grandparents have always had a real one. The fake tree looks better, has less cleanup, and doesnt hurt when you get pricked by it.
  23. I dont know about Macias, but I know Neifi Perez has. I did a report on money in baseball in the 20th century last year for my Humanities 2 class. I compared Neifi Perez to Babe Ruth (and I used an online money-converter to change Babe's salary to todays money) and Babe didnt even come close to Neifi. Sickening.
