I dont think Grace is a HOF'er. A fan favorite, yes. A HOF'er (or even close), No. I dont see the big deal about wearing 17. Its not in the same league as 26,14,10,21, and 31. EDIT: I just looked at his numbers and I retract my previous statement about him not being HOF material. .303/.383/.825 career line? wow.

I love sammy. I'd love for sammy to come and play for some team, reach 600 HR's, and be productive. That being said, I dont want him anywhere near the cubs because the fans would be ignorant pricks like they were when he left. And, I fear that his skillset is so far diminished by now it would be like Jordan on the Wizzards. -
Is it me or does he look a lot older in this picture. And is that a shaddow on the back of his head or does he have a serious receding hairline?

What is a gamer? It's a somewhat limited skills white guy that somehow plays a lot anyway. It helps if he's puts up reasonable production in some facet of the game. If he's ever played with visible blood, his reputation is sealed. LOL! -

Why? Thats ridiculous. What if, hypothetically, Ryan Theriot (starting this year) goes on a Ty-Cobb-esque 20 year streak in which he hits .320+ every year. Should his number not then be retired? Now, obviously, thats an extreme example. But its rather ridiculous to say that from "X" time forward there will be no more numbers retired, reguardless of what happens.

Well, I'm down by 11 going into Monday night. OO still has Chad Johnson to go, and I've got Harrison, Henry, and Vinateiri... I'm quietly optomistic, but this could be scary.

By my count I'm down 39 - 16 (YIKES!) He's got Boldin still playing in the 3rd quarter, Chad Johnson to go tomorrow, and Nate Keading to go tonight. I still have Shockey playing at the half, LDT (plz have a big day) tonight, and Henry, Harrison, and Vinatieri going tomorrow night.

I've decided to go with Henry and Moss. We'll see how it turns out. I'm also taking my chances starting Dunn. It says he's a "gametime decision." Hopefully if they decide not to play him they announce it early enough for me to chance my roster up.
