    Ernie Banks is making a comeback? WHER!? Banks: .274/.330/.500 (avg/obp/slg) Sammy: .274/.345/.537 ( " " ) Banks: 512 HR Sammy: 589 HR Sosa edges Banks..not by much..but he does. Banks - played in the deadball era. Sammy - didnt. Fair enough. I was simply basing my statement on statistics. Sammy's are slightly better than Banks. Also, I didnt know we considered the 50's-70's the deadball era? I always thought that was the 20/30's?
