  1. Now would be a nice time for marquis to get a hit.
  2. Marquis looks to be on today; all ground balls.
  3. GO REDS GO. Win today then prepare to lose for the next few days plz.
  4. Hells no. I say his downward spiral continues so far that within two weeks he looks like this: http://www.poster.net/scarface/scarface-photo-xl-scarface-6235654.jpg in the room but not pictured: scott spiezio Hahahahhaa
  5. your post amazes me. how can you justify putting Murton in our line up right now? He 'd probably be comparable in right to what we have all year but he makes floyd look like a gold glover out there. So its a moot point. Apparently everyone forgot how baserunners ran all over murton last year. Soriano still takes suspect routes and his arm looks much better in left as evidenced by the number of assists he has had, so hes not moving over for him. In 06, He also grounded into 163 outs. If last years teams was so inept he would have grounded in to 40 double plays instead of 16. The year everyone seems to think was awesome, Murton barely posted a .800 ops. Not that great. Consequently a very injured Soriano has so far posted a .853 and has been carrying this team for the last month with his defense and offense. That's ludicrous. He's batting .243 since the all star break, and .242 in September. That .853 OPS you're bragging about is completely fueled by the first half of the season. As I pointed out in my above post, he hasn't cracked .800 since the all star break. Murton has. Also, saying that floyd makes anyone look like a gold glover is completely insane.
  6. These types of post still amaze me. I'm with you, here. Low baseball IQ? Are you kidding me? What constitutes him having a low baseball IQ? He seems like an extremely intelligent guy to me. As far as would we rather see him in left than soriano...well I don't think anyone is going to say that. However: Alfonso Soriano (Post All Star Break) .243/.275/.761 Matt Murton (Post All Star Break) 291/.358/.858 ..it wouldn't be the worst thing that could happen. Obviously I'm not saying to bench Soriano in place of Murton...but benching floyd in place of him....
  7. Just gotta tip your cap. At least we got a split. Throw out the standings when these two teams meet. They're a tough team and we were lucky to take 2 out of the 4 in their home stadium. /bitter What is that in your sig, a crab??? Also,i missed game two last night, did kendall have a terrible game or something? I mean I'd like Soto to get more starts too, just seems like a lot of people are bitter at Kendall this morning. It's a combination of two things; In game 1, soto made a great play on a 3rd strike that got by him, back to the backstop. He ran back, grabbed the ball, and fired to first just in time to get whoever was running. In game two, kendall dropped a third strike RIGHT IN FREAKING FRONT OF HIM, lolly-gagged on picking it up, then made a crap throw that bounced in the dirt to first base; Ludwick was called safe. That started what turned out to be the game winning rally. Oh, that and Soto had a double that JUST missed going out; and I think kendall went hitless.
  8. So... what's going to happen? Fake rally? Real rally? or 1-2-3 inning?
