I've got the whole 2 odd some hours on WGN radio recorded at the celebration. It has Lou tearing up, and tons of great stuff. I can post some snippets later if anyone wants it. It's gonna take a long time to clean it up real good. By the way, are the Cubs going to skip any of the main 5 pitchers? I would assume they will give Ramirez some rest. Can you imagine any of the "main" guys playing today and tommorow? Don't know the temperature range to be honest with you, but it was one of the warmer home openers in recent years. That said, everyone still needed to bundle up. I was there. I froze my ass off.

The cops were being A-holes. They were pushing us all over the place for seemingly no reason. Nobody was doing anything stupid; just a lot of screaming and yelling and chanting. They better call in the entire Illinois police force if the Cubs ever win the WS. I'm thoroughly convinced that this city would descend into mass chaos And I'd love every soap dropping second of it. Really, though, they had the cops on horseback just pushing us up one side walk and down the other. I dont know exactly what their plan was, because as soon as they pushed us one way, we just turned, went around, and ended up right back where we were before.

I will most likely be on the streets outside wrigley for the games! As the dates get closer and my plans become more clear, I may certainly get in on this.

I know. The shutter on my camera stays open so damn long on night mode, so if i move just a little bit; that happens. And, it was pretty hard to keep a camera still out there tonight.

I posted this in the drunken thread; but I think it may fit here better. Anyway, I went to wrigley as soon as the cubs won it. And, I took lots of pictures. Most of them suck because the shutter on my camera stays open for a long time in night mode and so if i shake even a little it gets blurry...and as you can imagine it was hard to hold a camera still out there tonight. But some of them turned out just fine.
